SESSION NEWS:
Our good friend, Bob "the Box Player" Moore, is running a friendly Celtic jam session at J. Gilligan's restaurant/pub, 400 East Abram in Arlington. The sessions occur every Tuesday, starting at or around 7 PM and running until 10:00.
Friday nights at the Tipperary Inn in Dallas have evolved from an invitational session into a close-knit working band called Paddy Gone Wild. Expect to see this Webmaster there most Fridays. It happens at 5815 Live Oak St. (at the corner of Skillman) from 7:30 PM until 10:30.
The Tuesday night sessions at the relocated MacHenry's continue with the impressive guitarist and songwriter Randy "Flash" Galbraith as host. The venue is one of the few places in town with live music seven nights a week. All of it is good, and some of it is Celtic (more of it than at any other live music club in Tarrant County). Watch their schedule. The new location is 1408 W. Magnolia Ave., Fort Worth, in the hospital district between Spiral Diner and Benito's.
